Dennis Lloyd wrote “Nevermind” when I was living in Bangkok, Thailand. I was just moving from Israel, from Tel Aviv, to Bangkok, to the big city. I lived there for a year without wifi and nothing, just recording music. In a moment in Bangkok, I met my ex-girlfriend, and we dated for a year and a half. And part of it was she was traveling and I got really really jealous, you know? Like maybe she’s going to meet someone—maybe she’s going to leave me. So that’s the moment when I wrote “Nevermind,” just in the beginning of our relationship.
