"MEGATRON" is a single by Nicki Minaj released on June 21, 2019. After a 3 month hiatus from social media, Nickj returned to Twitter with a cryptic tweet simply stating "MEGATRON." The next day she posted pictures of the music video shoot to her Instagram with the caption "#Megatron + #QueenRadio 6/21".

The following day she posted a behind the scenes clip of the music video shoot. The track samples "Ting-A-Ling" by Emperor Ranks and "Heads High" by Mr. Vegas. Upon talking about it on Queen Radio, Nicki revealed that she wanted to release "MEGATRON" months prior, but her label wouldn't allow her to. The track is a stand alone single which means it is not connected to any album/bigger project.
